tune into 

to adjust a device to watch or hear a particular broadcast

TV를 보다 , 라디오를 듣다고 할때, watch, listen 이외에 자연스럽게 쓸수있는 다른 표현이다. 거의 오락목적으로 하는 방송을 듣거나 볼때만 쓴다. 예전에 TV나 라디오는 다이얼을 돌려 주파수를 맞추었던것에서 유래했다.

to increase/decrease the volume of something

볼륨을 줄이다/내리다

그냥 turn it up, turn it down이라고 해도 된다.

 

The wearer can turn the music up or down to whatever level is most comfortable.

 

When Samantha's her favorite song came out on, she Samantha turned it up to the fullest all the way.
