가장 많이 같이 쓰이는 명사는 price인것 같다. 터무니없이 높은 가격을 exorbitant price 라고 한다. 쉽게 overly high price 라고 해도 된다.

 

We've got comminities where the cost of living is not exorbitant as it might be elsewhere.

생활비가 다른곳처럼 그렇게 높지 않는 공동체들을 갖고 있습니다.

반대말로는 top dog

꼭 개를 가리키는 말은 아니고, 이길 승산이 거의 없는 사람이나 집단을 가리키는 말이다.

 

He will do anything for an underdog and do everything in his power to help someone that is helpless.
