차라리 ~하겠다 (~하고 싶다)
어떤 것을 더 선호한다는 뜻이다.
한 예로, "키작고 돈만든 남자랑 결혼할래, 잘생기고 능력없는 남자랑 결혼할래?" 같이 어떤 상황을 가정하고 무엇을 선택할지 질문에서 쓸수 있겠다. (Would you rather get married to a short rich man or ...?)

우리가 흔히 말하는 인스턴트 식품
요즘은 찌개도 데우기만 하면 바로 먹을수 있게 나온다. 이렇게 요리를 할필요없이 완제품으로 나온 음식도 store-bought이라고 하고 만두피나 팬케익 믹스(가루)처럼 요리에 사용되는 재료가 간편하게 가공되어 나온것을 말하기도한다.

집에서 만두를 만들때 처음부터 다 만드는 경우(from scratch)보다는 보통 만두피는 store-bought 제품으로 사고 속만 만들어서 채우는 경우가 많지 않은가?
