The new regulation creates a new class of hearing aids/ that don’t require a medical exam, prescription, and other specialty evaluations. The Food and Drug Administration estimates/ that nearly 30 million adults/ could potentially benefit from a hearing aid,/ though only about one-fifth of people with hearing problems currently use one. The high cost may be a big obstacle. Americans can pay more than 5,000 dollars for a hearing aid,/ with exams and fittings accounting for two-thirds of the total cost. The new rule makes it easier to get the devices/ and will likely increase competition/ and eventually lower prices.

 

새로운 규정이 의료 검진, 처방전 그리고 기타 전문적 평가가 필요하지 않은 새로운 종류의 보청기를 만들 수 있게 해줍니다. 미국 식약청은 듣는데 어려움을 겪는 사람 중 현재 보청기를 사용하고 있는 사람은 1/5에 불과하지만 거의 3천만 명의 성인들이 잠재적으로 보청기의 혜택을 받을 수 있을 것으로 추정하고 있습니다. 높은 비용이 큰 난관일 수 있습니다. 미국인들은 보청기에 5천 달러 이상을 지불해야 하는 데 이중 검진과 피팅(귀 상태에 보청기를 맞추기 위한 미세 소리 조절)이 총 비용의 2/3를 차지합니다. 새로운 규정은 장비 구입을 쉽게 만들고 경쟁을 향상 시켜 결국 가격을 낮추게 될 것입니다.

Iran Khodro, branded as IKCO,/ unveiled its latest crossover called Rira. The company claims it designed it independently/ rather than copying foreign-made cars,/ although some analysts say the Rira is based on a Peugeot model. Iranian automakers like IKCO/ have picked up the slack/ after France’s Peugeot and Renault exited Iran in 2018/ in the wake of US sanctions. While admitting the adverse effects of the sanctions,/ IKCO said the sanctions helped it to become a car manufacturer. It plans to focus on luxury cars such as Rira/ and export 100,000 vehicles annually. 

 

IKCO라는 브랜드로 판매되는 이란 호드로가 리라라는 최신 크로스오버 차량을 발표했습니다. 회사는 외국산 차량을 모방하기보다 독립적으로 리라를 설계했다고 주장했지만 일부 애널리스트들은 리라가 푸조 모델에 기반을 두고 있다고 말합니다. IKCO와 같은 이란 자동차업체는 프랑스의 푸조와 르노가 미국의 경제 제재 여파로 2018년 이란을 떠난 후 그 공백을 메우고 있습니다. 경제 제재의 역효과를 인정하면서도 IKCO는 재제가 차 제조업체가 되는 데에 도움이 되었다고 말했습니다. 회사는 리라와 같은 럭셔리 차량에 집중해 연간 10만 대의 차량을 수출할 계획입니다.
